Last year, before thanksgiving, one of my best friends passed away. He was 90 years old and also had the title of my Godfather and grandpa. He was an awesome man, though imperfect in many ways. He knew how to make me feel very special. And his love for games and story telling always made the hours pass quickly in our time together. So I guess it will be from now on, that every holiday season will be filled with memories of him and wishing he was here. Although I can hardly listen to "Have yourself a merry little Christmas," without crying, I like thinking about him so much. It makes him feel a little closer.

hey lady! i love you lots and lots! hopefully i'll talk to you soon! (hey are you going to be coming to the after christmas girl's shindig at doolittle's house?)
yay, ali!!! welcome to blogging! isn't so funny how tyler has corrupted us all? it's so great that we can all keep in touch this way now.
i haven't been going to Greentree because it's so far away from where i'm living and where i go to school... so sad that i haven't seen you in awhile. will you leave your e-mail address for me on my blog? I know you probably have plans for next weekend, but if not, i would love it if you want to come to this party with Andrea adn I and a bunch of other fun Christian girls.
see ya, McBeal. oxoxoxo. Merry Christmas!
girl. i think i don't need to explain that i'm with you in the land of missing dear grandpas...you know that already:) i'm with you here, and i'll remember you too in my sadness. i'm glad you like thinking about him. that's still a little hard for me unless i have a lot of time to cry. not that i'm trying to forget him, but sometimes if i let myself dwell for too long, it gets even harder. i'm glad you're doing ok with this...i love you, and i can't wait to see you after christmas!
all the way to the moon.... and back. :)
